Cinco De Mayo!

Next week it will be time for Cinco de Mayo. While it's a fun time to party and drink some tequila and beer, very few people know the reason for the celebration. Here's a bit of the history, Cinco de Mayo is not Mexican Independence Day, and it’s not an American drinking holiday, it is a day however to be remembered. On the morning of May 5th, 1862, four thousand Mexican troops defeated eight thousand French and traitor Mexican troops who intended to overthrow the newly organized government and essentially work their way up the United States. Though weak and small in number the loyal Mexicans held ground and ended up winning the battle. That’s why it’s such a party! A party to celebrate liberty and freedom, the two ideals which Mexicans and Americans have fought side by side to protect ever since 1862.

Our store has all sorts of things to help you celebrate this great day! From the typical sombrero and maracas to foil balloons in cool designs like a chili pepper and cactus! We even have full costumes if you really want to spice up your day. Streamers, garland, decorations, flags, and piñatas are a must at any Cinco de Mayo party, so make sure you stock up on lots! Administrative Professionals day is Wednesday, April 21st, and you can show that appreciation with bright and cheery balloons. Tee Time

I know what you’re thinking; and no I’m not talking about petit-fours, cloth napkins and a porcelain cup of Earl Grey, I’m referring to Tee Time on the green. In other words, putting a small white ball on a tee somewhere on a golf course. For those of you non-golfers you might still be lost, but those of you who have enjoyed a nice game of cow pasture pool know exactly what I’m talking about.



National Golfers Day is April 10th, and we have everything you need to look your best out on the fairway; from golfer's hats to golf club glasses, and even old fashioned golfer costumes. If you happen to be planning a luncheon of sorts for your golf buddies we also have golf themed party supplies

It's Almost Easter!

Easter is quickly approaching and with just a few days before the big day, don’t let any more time get away; come rent your Easter bunny today. The store has been alive with activity. Bunnies are hopping out the door left and right, balloons are being carried away in handfuls, and Roman soldiers are marching out in single file. Pastel tableware has been a hot item this week, as folks are gearing up for the Holiday. Make sure your table isn’t left alone and dreary this year; come get a table cover or decor to dress it up.
